Help document the repression of Palestine solidarity in the public sector!

This is your chance to participate in a new national research study looking at the repression of Palestine solidarity in australian government workplaces!

If you'd like to share your story, whether through an interview or self-guided testimony submission, please see this link for more information.

Broadly, the researcher is interested in experiences relating to the repression of Palestine solidarity in Australian government workplaces and employees’ resistance to this repression, including (but not limited to):

  • Repression/censorship and/or antiPalestinian and antiArab racism and Islamophobia
  • How employees resisted or pushed back (individually or collectively) against institutional oppression and those who uphold it
  • How employees survived and navigated the repression and racism
  • How employees show up in the movement (whichever movement they centre)
  • How employees’ politics connect to the broader movement beyond the workplace
  • How employees view the link between institutional repression in the public sector and wider structures of oppression
  • What motivates employees to keep challenging them.

This study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at Western Sydney University (H16952).
