About

How populated was Tasmania before the arrival of Europeans?

In this presentation modelling techniques are used to argue for a larger rather than smaller population. One of the advantages of this approach is that it provides a better means of estimating the toll on the frontier. Some of the long-run implications of this are presented and parallels are made between the colonisation of Lutruwita and Palestine.
